Someone Very Special

After 40 incredible years in the hair industry, Carleen had planned to retire... but over the Christmas break she did some soul-searching and realized something important - she's just not ready yet. And honestly? Neither are we.

Change isn't easy, especially when you love what you do and the people you do it with. So instead of a full stop, Carleen is gently easing her way into retirement.

We are thrilled to share that Carleen will be continuing with us at Dahlia Salon & Spa, working part-time behind the chair and part-time in an educator role, sharing her decades of experience with our team.

Our staff adore her. Our clients adore her. We adore her contagious laugh, her signature red hair, and the warmth she brings to our salon every single day. Life at Dahlia just wouldn't be the same without her.
